Become a Certified Freediver in Three Steps:
After enrollment, you will be given a login to access your online training materials. Please make sure you complete all of your online training BEFORE your first day of class to ensure that you get the most value from the classroom and pool training. Estimated completion time = 5 hours
Each day of the course includes interactive classroom experiences covering physics, physiology, equalization, breathing, relaxation, and safety. The remainder of the session takes place in the pool to improve technique, practice rescue skills, and test your limits in a safe environment with direct assistance from your instructor. Successful completion results in an SSI Pool Freediver certification.
Your final step is completing two open water sessions and diving to 33 feet below the surface. We include an additional third session for improved skill retention (66ft max depth).

- Note* If you answere 'yes' to question 3,5,10 or any question in boxes A-G on the medical questionnaire, you must also complete this medical release, have it signed by medical professional, and submitted to Ocean First no later than 48hours before your class.
*We require all students to bring a mask, snorkel, fins, bathing suit, and towel each night for class.
