Hello 2019!

Just like that, 2018 is over and we are starting a fresh year. I don’t know about you, but I didn’t get to everything I set out to do in 2018. It was a great year and yet there are still several “I meant tos” because I either got too busy or simply didn’t make the time.

With each closing of a year and the starting of a new one, we have a chance to reflect on our accomplishments and become energized by new opportunities yet to come. Make this the year to take chances on yourself and feel the strength that comes with it! Take that cooking class, learn a new language, embark on a journey to a new part of our glorious planet that you never thought you’d visit. Have you always wanted to dive with sharks? Do it! Are you tired of hearing how incredible Africa is? Go see it for yourself. It really is an amazing place by the way. Get out of your comfort zone and take a challenging scuba course. You will be amazed at how much you have to learn and how good it feels to break free and just do it.

Life will continue along with or without you. Stop for a moment and take a chance on yourself. Your future self at this time next year will thank you, especially as you reflect on the memories you created and made time for.
