Multiple pods of orcas visit the Sea of Cortez every spring and summer. Unlike almost anywhere else in the world, these magnificent apex predators choose to interact with us. Orcas are actually present year-round, though peak sightings occur in July and August, with up to 20 days of orca sightings in each of those months. Of course, orcas don’t just hang out at their favourite cafe but can be found almost anywhere! A special feature during this season: joyful, jumping and flying mobula rays are residents. Massive schools of mobulas from the end of March through July. Getting in the water with one of these massive schools of 4- to 5-foot rays is a truly special experience!

Trip Cost:
- $4,950 superior cabin, based on double occupancy
- $5,550 premium cabin, based on double occupancy
Payment Schedule:
- Nonrefundable deposit to reserve space $750
- $750 due by October 1, 2026
- $750 due by January 1, 2027
- Final balance due May 1, 2027
- Passport must be valid for 6 months after departure date
Cancellation Policy:
- Changes made to the reservation may result in additional fees.
- Cancellation 180 days or more: refunds given based on reselling the space, minus the initial deposit.
- 179 - 120 days: payments made to date are forfeited as well as any vendor fees.
- 119 days or less or a no-show: no refunds given.
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended. Ocean First recommends Allianz Travel Insurance
