Growing up on the lakes and rivers of Arkansas, I developed a lifelong passion for the water that led to over eight years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard, primarily in Southeast Alaska. During my service, I learned to dive and discovered a new world underwater. Following my military service, I became a SCUBA instructor to share my love for the ocean with others. After owning a successful dive center and charter business in Alaska, I have now brought that same dedication to South Florida. Additionally, I am a passionate photographer and videographer. My work has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers, and I have worked both behind the lens and behind the scenes for organizations including the BBC, Animal Planet, PBS, Discovery, Kids PBS, and National Geographic. For over 28 years, I have remained committed to educating others about the marine environment, maintaining the same drive that began in the temperate waters of the Alaskan coast.
