Ocean First Key Largo is delighted to be operating our new Largo Sound location at the world renowned Marine Lab, an expansive marine science learning center in Key Largo, Florida that includes dorms, classrooms, staff quarters, and one of the most idyllic backyard labs a student could ever hope for. Just an hour south of Miami, Marine Lab sits on the doorstep of seagrass beds, mangroves, and the Florida Reef Tract, one of the largest barrier reefs in the world. Often considered the diving capital of the country, these rich and diverse ecosystems provide not only exceptional diving, but also incredible opportunities for citizen science and marine research.
