Sylvie was born in Wisconsin but spent most of her childhood growing up in Salida, Colorado, where she naturally developed a deep love for the outdoors. Whether she's hiking, camping, or skiing down the Rockies, she is always looking for her next adventure. In 2025, Sylvie decided to take her passion for exploration below the surface and earned her Open Water certification, later celebrating with a dream first dive trip to Fiji!

Currently, Sylvie is a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she is pursuing a degree in Geography with a focus on GIS, alongside a minor in Business. She hopes to eventually combine her technical skills with her love for marine environments to work directly on coral reef restoration and protection initiatives. Sylvie is incredibly proud to be a part of the Ocean First team and to support a company dedicated to protecting the blue planet. When she isn't studying or blowing bubbles, you can find her exploring local trails or planning her next underwater getaway.
