Emilia was born in Miami, Florida, and moved to California at age 6. She has been swimming since she was 8 years old and swam competitively until her junior year of high school. She enjoys swimming in the ocean and the pool and going wakeboarding. She is a student at CU Boulder pursuing her degree in Strategic Communications with a minor in Political Science. Emilia also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, running, skiing and baking.
