Sergio grew up in San Diego, California, where he loved boogie boarding at the beach with family and friends. He also enjoys traveling and has visited places such as Costa Rica, Peru, and Hawaii. He began playing water polo in high school and continued through college. During that time, he and his friends also started backpacking through national parks across California, including Sequoia and Kings Canyon. His passion for the outdoors led him to move to Boulder after high school. His hobbies include playing electric guitar, snowboarding, backpacking, and working out.
