At Ocean First, our adult swim program is designed to help you build confidence, skill, and comfort in the water — no matter your starting point.
Adult I focuses on the fundamentals of freestyle and developing essential water comfort and safety skills. Students learn how to tread water, breathe properly, float, and coordinate kicking and pulling techniques. This level is perfect for those new to swimming or looking to strengthen their foundational skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Adult II takes things to the next level, emphasizing mastery of all four strokes — freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly. Swimmers also practice dives, treading water, and open water techniques to prepare for more advanced aquatic activities such as snorkeling or scuba diving.

What makes Ocean First unique is the environment we create for every swimmer. Our 89-degree pool provides a comfortable and controlled space for learning, with both a shallow and 12-foot deep end — ideal for equalization practice and skill progression. Classes are intentionally small, with no more than four students, ensuring personalized attention from SSI-certified swim instructors. Every lesson moves at your own pace, helping you feel confident, safe, and supported as you reach your swimming goals.
